BISBEE PRIDE 2008

FRIDAY

Friday the 13th Leather and Lace Street Party | 8PM—2AM | Old West Saloon, Copper Queen Hotel

A meet and greet opportunity on the first night of Bisbee Pride. Enjoy good conversation, lively music, and for some local flavor try a "Bisbee Blue" inside the saloon or on the veranda overlooking the street party. Wear your best leather or lace. Who knows, you might get lucky! $5

Drag Shows | 9:30PM and MIDNIGHT | Old West Saloon, Copper Queen Hotel

Included with your $5 ticket to the Friday the 13th Street Party, you have the opportunity to see two highly entertaining shows featuring female illusionist Ajia Simone, Tucson’s Black Cat, with Janee Starr. Don’t miss it! Free with your Friday the 13th Street Party ticket purchase.

SATURDAY

Grassy Park Vendors | 10AM—5PM | Grassy Park

Poolside BBQ and Swim Party | 11AM—3PM | Copper Queen Hotel

The beautiful courtyard pool is ready for those who want to relax in the southern Arizona sunshine. Splash around in the pool and people watch to your heart's content. Admission includes a western BBQ lunch with all the fixin's. Quench your thirst at the poolside bar. $10

Music in the Park | Begins at NOON | City Park, Brewery Gulch

Take a break between Pride events and relax with an eclectic mix of live local talent performing throughout the afternoon. Free

Desert Voices | 5:30PM | City Park, Brewery Gulch

They wowed the crowd last year and they're back again! Arizona's premier GLBT chorus is a uniquely diverse mix of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight people. Enjoy this afternoon delight as the sun begins to set behind the mountains. Free

Lingerie Pub Crawl | 7PM—10PM | Old West Saloon, Copper Queen Hotel

Drag out your favorite lingerie or buy it at your local thrift store. This is a Pride favorite and an opportunity to tour some of Bisbee's saloons and a great way to gear-up for the UnderStock Dance Party—the last stop of the Pub Crawl. This event begins at the Old West Saloon at the Copper Queen Hotel. Free to Crawl (but pay as you go for drinks at each stop)

Luminary Lighting & Music | 7:30PM | City Park, Brewery Gulch

Remember loved ones through celebration with luminary lights and music. $1 donation per each dedicated luminary. This event support HIV/AIDS services in Cochise County. This event includes a special performance by Desert Voices, Arizona's premier GLBT chorus.

UnderStock Dance Party | 10PM—2AM | Stock Exchange Saloon
(the Steakhouse basement entrance on Brewery Ave.)

The Pub Crawl ends here to kick-off this hot and high-energy dance party. Get down and show some skin! Celebrate Bisbee Pride like there’s no tomorrow. $5

Helen’s Place (Tinker Bell Park) | 5PM—3AM | St. John’s Church Grounds

Outdoor dining featuring Greek delectables. Long hours to fuel you through the night.

My Blue Heaven | 7PM—8:30PM | St. John’s Church Hall

Bisbee’s Obscure Productions and Bisbee Pride present this romantic comedy of a “different color”. Written by the award winning author Jane Chambers, this play includes mature themes and language. Tickets available from 11AM to show time. Doors open at 6:30. Open seating. $10

SUNDAY

Breakfast Buffet | 7AM—10:30AM | Winchester's, Copper Queen Hotel

Enjoy some of Bisbee's historic atmosphere a bit longer. Nurse that nasty hangover and savor some local flavor as the fabulous weekend comes to a close. Winchester's delicious breakfast buffet is waiting for you! $10
