Bisbee Pride's
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
An important aspect of the work done by Bisbee Pride centers around support of our community. A primary goal of Bisbee Pride is to operate as a community service organization, supporting various needs in our community. Bisbee has always been a city of great diversity, and Bisbee Pride is committed to working exclusively and in conjunction with other organizations to continue this legacy. Over the years Bisbee Pride has provided community support in various ways – through direct donations, volunteer labor, and other kinds of support. Here are some of the projects Bisbee Pride has been involved with over the past four years.

Bisbee Pride brings the AIDS
Memorial Quilt “The Names Project Foundation” to Old Bisbee in 2008 (Read More), and with it brings AIDS awareness and education to Cochise County.

Bisbee Pride worked with Bisbee High School students and other community organizations in refurbishing the famous B above downtown Bisbee.

Bisbee Pride has assisted in the Bisbee Coaster Race, an annual youth event. The race runs over a mile and a half course down city streets. This is the oldest, longest and fastest gravity powered vehicle race in the world. (The race is held 4th of July.)

Bisbee Pride provided financial support to the Bisbee
School District Arts Program.
Bisbee Pride participated in city beautification through financial and volunteer labor donations toward the refurbishment of Grassy Park in downtown Bisbee.
